Today, I bring to you a freebie sampler of my Power Paragraphs: Winter Edition. This is a first to a seasonal series, teaching students how to construct properly formatted paragraphs. In the full edition, there are ten writing prompts, ranging from narrative, persuasive, informative, opinion, and how-to. Each writing prompt comes with a brainstorming graphic organizer page, a rough drafting page where they will create a topic sentence, three detail sentences, and a closing sentence, and a final copy template. Rubrics for each writing category are also included. 10 prompts will last you a good chunk of the winter season if you do one a week!
